Sheet-fed Printing Plant of Madaro, Inofita
Located in the area of Madaro at Inofita, (prefecture
of Viotia), the sheet-fed printing plant initially
belonged to Lambrakis Press S.A. before being
spun off to Iris SA.
Madaro rates among the most advanced plants
in Europe employing state-of-the-art equipment
and highly skilled technicians. Madaro
prints and finishes magazine cover pages and a
wide variety of advertising material and magazines
with complicated quality requirements. Madaro
couples the capabilities of its printing presses
with the finishing equipment to get consistent
high quality output standards.
Madaro also prints magazines with small
print runs, books and a multitude of advertising
leaflets with small print runs.
Madaro's machinery and equipment include:
o A Man Roland 708 8-colour offset sheet-fed
printing press with a capacity of 15,000 sheets
per hour , featuring optional 4x4 single-run double-sided
printing, which can also be fed paper rolls.
o A Man Roland 706 6-colour offset sheet-fed
printing press with a capacity of 15,000 sheets
per hour, featuring optional 2x4 single-run double-sided
printing.
o An ultra-violet varnishing machine.
o A BILLHOEFFER film laminating machine.
o Six (6) machines for rigid plastic coating.
o A complete phototransport facility.
Madaro prints regularly some 35 magazines
and 150 magazine covers and large volumes of quality
advertising leaflets and catalogues for numerous
clients.
