Moschato Proforma Processing Plant
The Moschato plant is a paper processing facility
specialized in transforming rolls of paper into
sheets used for sheet-fed printing presses and
into specially-dimensioned rolls. The plant also
re-winds and repairs rolls of paper that have
been damaged during transportation or storage
(axle repairs, flange removal, etc.).
The Moschato processing plant mainly offers its
services to Iris S.A., but also carries out
paper sheet-cutting orders from other paper trading
companies.
The plant is located in rented premises covering
1,500m2 at 52, Pireos Street in the
Athenian neighbourhood of Moschato. Its equipment
include:
A BIELOMATIC sheet-cutting machine,
manufactured in 1997, for cutting paper rolls
into sheets with a processing capacity of 250m
of paper per minute. The machine can process paper
qualities ranging between 45g/m2 and 170g/m2.
A CAMERON cutting machine, manufactured
in 1997, for cutting paper rolls into smaller
ones.
A WOLLENBERG cutting machine, manufactured
in 1998, for cutting sheets of paper.
Two automated winding machines,
manufactured in 1997, for the final packaging
of pallets of paper.
