PUBLISHING BUSINESS SECTOR
During 1999 and the first months of
the year 2000, Lambrakis Press considerably
extends its range of publications, either
on its own or through the creation of
new joint subsidiaries with other publishing
companies.
OWN PUBLICATIONS

ZO STA DYTIKA PROASTIA (Living
in the Western Suburbs), a supplement
covering events and entertainment
in the western suburbs of Athens,
is included in the Saturday edition
of newspaper TA NEA. |

TA NEA SAVVATOKYRIAKO
(The Weekend News): Following
the growth of the weekend market,
the newspaper TA NEA (The News)
changes the appearance of its
Saturday edition and enriches
its content by including: a
financial supplement called
I OIKONOMIA (The Economy), and
a literary and social magazine
titled PROSOPA 21os EONAS (People,
21st Century).

TO VIMA (The Tribune): Targeting
the morning newspaper market,
Lambrakis Press started publishing
a daily edition of the newspaper
TO VIMA. The edition carries the
following special supplements:
ANAPTYXI BLOOMBERG (Development-Bloomberg),
a daily financial supplement,
published in collaboration with
Bloomberg, the international financial
news service; VIMASPORT, a sports
supplement published every Monday;
VIMARAM, covering information
technology issues and appearing
every Wednesday; VIMASTYLE, a
women's supplement published every
Saturday. |

BIT: Publication of a weekly
magazine covering the growing
market of home computers, games,
the Internet, personal digital
devices and mobile phones. As
of June 2000, BIT was incorporated
as a special section in the magazine
RAM. |

NEA AKTINA S.A.:
Lambrakis Press and publishing
firm Ekdotikes Epichiriseis Ch.Terzopoulos
found a new publishing company,
which took over the publication
of Disney's children's magazines
(Mickey Mouse, etc.), and in which
Lambrakis Press holds a 50.5%
interest. |

SPECIAL PUBLICATIONS S.A.: Lambrakis
Press S.A. acquires 55% of the
company, which publishes the monthly
magazine KLIK; the monthly magazine
MEN; and the bimonthly magazine
GEORAMA. |

AGORA AKINITON (Real-Estate
Market). The supplement, targeted
at TA NEA's readers who are interested
in buying, renting or letting
offices, appartments, houses or
plots of land, starts appearing
every Tuesday.
HEARST-LAMBRAKIS PRESS S.A. Lambrakis
Press and the international publishing
corporation Hearst create a new
company, which publishes the Greek
edition of the COSMOPOLITAN magazine.
Its first issue appears in April
2000. The venture plans also to
publish Greek editions of other
Hearst titles. Lambrakis Press
holds 50% of the company's share
capital. |

MC HELLAS S.A.: Lambrakis Press
and MC Album S.A. found a new
company publishing the women's
monthly magazine MARIE CLAIRE,
a title formerly published by
Lambrakis Press S.A. The January
2000 issue was the first to be
published by the new company.
Lambrakis Press owns 50% of the
company. |
