1994
Lambrakis Press S.A. found Provoli Ltd (Projection),
publisher of ANGELIOFOROS (The Messenger),
a newspaper dedicated exclusively to charge-free
classified advertisements appearing in the
Thessaloniki area.
The magazine TO PEDI MOU KI EGO (My Child
and I) is published for the first time. Initially
published as a quarterly edition, it appears
on a monthly basis as of 1996.

Lambrakis Press S.A.'s printing facility at
Akadimia Platonos, in the Athens area, is
completed and commences its operations. Built
on an industrial site belonging to the Company,
the printing plant owns three pioneering state-of-the-art,
semi-commercial, high-speed MAN UNISET printing
presses and two automated insetting FERAG
machines for the production of newspapers
and other printed material. The total investment
amounted to approximately GRD 6 billion. Besides
meeting the newspaper-printing demands of
Lambrakis Press S.A., the Akadimia Platonos
plant also prints newspapers and other documents
on behalf of third parties. |
