GENERAL INFORMATION

RAM is the top selling monthly magazine on computers in Greece. RAM was launched in February 1988 and covers the wide area of information technology, offering information and news on the evolving technologies, performing product tests that help potential buyers of hardware and software and providing advice on using and implementing software and hardware.

The tests of «RAM» are a reference point in the Greek market. Every month the magazine presents, tests and evaluates a large number of software and hardware products in comparative tests. To perform these tests RAM has installed a high quality test laboratory for measurements and controls that is utilized by the magazine’s specialized reporters.

Every issue of RAM is accompanied by a DVD, with useful applications, tools, market guides and games for its users as well as optional special books focusing on various topics of the magazine.

In 2007, RAM included two extra magazines “ØÖDigital photography” covering every aspect of digital photography as well as “bit” magazine with topics on technology for young readers such as games for PC, PSP and other platforms..

The magazine was also accompanied by the special inserts “Learn to use Photoshop PS3”, “Financial RAM”, “Game Guide” and “Net Guide”.

In 2007 the supplement magazine “RAMkid”, addressed to demotic school children, was developed into a separate monthly magazine with each issue featuring an educative-entertaining CD-ROM.

During the same year RAM revamped its stand-alone publication “Total Hacker” into a monthly magazine for advanced PC users and RAMkid circulated its stand-alone publications "I Learn Music on the PC" and "I Learn English on the PC".

CIRCULATION DATA

In 2007 “RAM” had average circulation of 26.687 copies per issue and additional sales of 2.972 copies through subscriptions.

Respectively "RAMkid" had average circulation of 13.288 copies per issue and additional sales of 276 copies through subscriptions.

READERSHIP DATA

According to a recent survey by Focus Bari for 2007, the total readership of “RAM” is 273.000 readers per issue and the readership of “RAMkid” is 43.000 readers per issue.

ATTRACTED ADVERTISEMENT SPENDING

According to data by Media Services SA, the nominal attracted advertisement revenue for “RAM” in 2007 amounted to 1.636 thousand euros while in 2006 the respective figure amounted to 1.5224 thousand euros. The respective amounts for “RAMkid” are 14 thousand euros in 2007 and 25 thousand euros in 2006.
