GENERAL INFORMATION
HITECH (www.hitech.gr) was launched in January 1996 and is currently the top selling monthly magazine for home electronics in Greece. The home electronics sector traditionally encompasses audio and video equipment, but has recently expanded into multimedia, communications and home cinema. HITECH has set up state-of-the-art measurement laboratories and specially arranged rooms for video projections and audio listening that are used by the magazines specialized editors. HITECH’s equipment tests are a point of reference in the Greek market.
Since 2003, HITECH includes the supplement “MP3 Review” covering digital music and cinema topics.
In 2007 HiTECH was accompanied by high quality DVDs and Blu-Ray DVDs.
Also in 2007 HiTECH circulated the stand-alone publications «Classical Music No3 êáé Íï.4», «DVD Guide», «HomeTech», «Home Theatre Design», «Music Pro No. 2» êáé «Rolling Stones».
CIRCULATION DATA
In 2007 «HiTECH» had average circulation of 14.380 copies per issue and additional sales of 1.066 copies per issue through subscriptions.
READERSHIP DATA
According to a recent market survey by Focus Bari SA for 2007 the readership of “HITECH” amounted to 61.000 readers per issue.
ATTRACTED ADVERTISEMENT SPENDING
According to data by Media Services SA, the nominal attracted advertisement revenue of “HiTECH” for 2007 amounted to 1.241 thousand euros, while for 2006 to 1.160 thousand euros.
