MULTIMEDIA S.A.
Multimedia S.A. was founded in 1988 by Lambrakis
Press (60%), Ioannis Farmakis (20%) and Claude
Marie Yvonne Barthe (20%) aiming to become a major
service provider in the fast-developing multimedia
technology (desktop publishing, videotext, computer
animation, etc). Since 1993, the company's activities
focus in the production of multimedia titles and
large-scale digital pre-press services.
Through a series of investments in human resources
and digital infrastructure, Multimedia's capacity
and know-how fully meets the complex requirements
of the Lambrakis Press publications and those
of third party publishers. The company's equipment
includes, among others, two cylindrical and three
plane chromographers, one high-end photograph-processing
workstation, two analog proof-processing workstations
and seven image-placing devices. Today, Multimedia
ranks among the largest and most technologically
advanced graphic arts' companies in Greece with
a fully digital work flow.
