ARCHAIOLOGIA (Archeology), a quarterly, special-interest
magazine, appears for the first time. In 1996,
after being renamed ARCHAIOLOGIA KAI TECHNES
(Archeology and Arts), the publication was
transferred to Athinaika Nea S.A., a company
owned by the Lambrakis Research Foundation.

Lambrakis Press S.A. expands its operations
into the tourism business sector, creating
Travel Plan, a domestic and overseas travel
agency. American subsidiary Freegate Tourism
Co. Inc., based in New York, USA, will later
reinforce the Company's presence in this field
of activities.
